MARKETING AND E-COMMERCE INTERN
Exciting opportunity for any student interested in gaining digital marketing and e-commerce experience.
The marketing and e-commerce intern will support multiple areas of the business by playing a key role in the development and launch of our new e-commerce website platform. In this role, you will wear many hats and have the opportunity to get a little taste of many areas of the business. Tasks can vary greatly from day to day, but it’s always interesting!
This role provides the opportunity to be involved in several key technology projects that will shape the sites’ for years to come. The Intern will learn the practical application of: Supporting the operations of the ecommerce team by cultivating a working knowledge of business systems and working internally and with third party vendors to diagnose and resolve systems issues. Opportunity to be involved in/support other ecommerce activity, including – support for daily marketing and promotional activities; content management; other areas as assigned.
An intern would be part of the team that is working on the deployment and ongoing development of our new Ecommerce Store. The tasks may vary depending on the projects, but will primarily focus on the new Ecommerce Store, centered around:
- Testing features of the new store
- Phase 2 testing of new features in the sandbox environment
- Check site for a consistent look and feel, typos, etc.
- Review reports generated for accuracy
- Develop documentation as needed.
Needs to enjoy working with technology and have a high attention to detail Required Experience 2 year degree or equivalent, experience working with software a plus.
Skills, Attributes and Knowledge Desired:
- Solid knowledge of E-Commerce, Search, Web and Social Media
- PowerPoint, Word and Excel experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Enthusiasm and strong work ethic
- Flexibility and ability to handle multiple projects
- Team player with a passion for digital marketing
